The Sims Online Stratics team is looking to expand our ranks and we want YOU to be a part of it all! TSO:S is looking for dedicated, committed, and highly creative people to join us and fill out positions in our various departments. NEWS

We are currently hoping to fill a variety of positions. Specifically, the following are needed:

• City News Reporter: Those of you that are well written, 18 years of age or over, then this position is for you! As News Reporter, you are expected to write articles for your designated city, be a mentor to the Junior Reporters, and answer questions from the community or Freelance Reporters. You must have the ability to edit/proof read articles submitted to you, and publish the articles.
  Reporters would be expected to:
• Actively seek out stories for your city.
• Use your creativity to come up with unique and original ideas for news stories.
• Share and discuss ideas with the rest of the news staff.
• Post an average of at least 1 news story each week.
• Have at least a minimal knowledge of HTML.
• Be able to properly use spelling, grammar, AND punctuation.

• Junior News Reporter:
  • If you are well written, under 18 years of age, and would like to contribute to the Stratics community, then this position is for you! As a Junior Reporter, you will be able to have access to a forum that only Junior Reporters, News Reporters, and Senior Staff can see. Your articles will be sent to your city's reporter, or the news manager for final editing and publication.
  CONTENT
  • Content Editors: Content Editors are responsible for pouring over the existing content on the site and making sure it is current & correct. If it is not, they are responsible for correcting it and submitting it to the Admin team. They are also welcome to submit their own guides/databases if they so wish at anytime and such action is heavily encouraged. The following is stuff we would like to see:
    • Have a great deal of experience with The Sims Online, or The Sims Offline.
    • Be excited about the role and have a willingness to encourage discussion about the game through feedback, forum use, etc.
    • Have a clear understanding of what it is we are trying to do with these areas.
    • Have the time available to commit an average of four hours or so a week to the staff.
    • An ability to write well. They will be expected to write guides & keep them updated.

  • Other Submissions: You don't have to be an active SIM:S staff member to submit content. Simply send it to us at tsoadmin@stratics.com . This includes guides, articles, editorials, database updates, artwork, and anything else creative you might have thought up.

  FORUMS

  • Moderators: To qualify for this position you must have the ability to:
    • Be impartial
    • Enforce the Stratics Rules of Conduct
    • Stimulate and lead discussions, to lead by example.
    • Participate in the discussions, expressing your own opinion and encouraging debate without attacking the opinions of others

  The main qualities we are looking for are dedication and commitment, not the ability to write a novel.

  We are looking to make some huge improvements here at TSO Stratics and we hope that you too can be a part of such a miraculous period of our history.
