TOP 100 LISTS
In your User Interface window, you’ll notice
that there are a couple of lists that will tell you the most notable
Sims and most notable houses to visit in each Property Category. These
lists are a wonderful source of getting to know where you live and who
lives near you.

TOP 100 SIMS
In the Top 100 Sims List, you’ll find a
variety of categories. These categories are a compilation of what type
of people these Sims are. For every action, positive or negative, you’ll
find it has an affect on these lists.
The most famous Sims are those that meet
people left and right. They are not sitting at home alone staring at
the television, playing with their puppy, or watching the fruit grow
on their trees. These Sims are movers and shakers and are always in
the thick of things.
Fame is determined by how many incoming friendships a Sim has... or
links above the “friend” level of +60 Lifetime points. The more you
have that like you... the more famous you will become. So get out there
and show the world your good side!
Karma is basically the integrated collection
of one’s good and evil deeds during a lifetime. For everything one does,
regardless of how momentous, there is a positive or negative effect
depending on what that action was. Karma is the essence of what defines
good people. The more Karma one has, the better life will be in the
end. Or so they say... In The Sims Online, Karma is defined by your
actions with others. When you have a good interaction, your Karma adds
up. When you have a bad... it takes away from the Karma.
If you look at the Best Karma list, and scroll your mouse over a name,
a number will appear:

This number is the sum of all your links. For each daily/lifetime count
your Karma is totaled and this comprises the figure your Sim is listed
with. So, if you believe in good Karma get out there and start being
good to your fellow Sims!
Different from Most Famous, the Friendliest Sim is the
one with the most outgoing friendships or links above the “friend” level.
These Sims are not afraid to express how they feel about others. If
you want to get a reputation as being friendly, go ahead! Smooch the
next Sim you see! Leap into someone’s arms, and worship them! The more
Sims you express yourself to, the more outgoing links you’ll receive.
This will increase your Friendliest monitor, and you’ll soon see your
name in lights!
Ahh... so you choose infamy over friends? You want to be known for all
things not necessarily nice? Don’t care to get all sappy over a few people,
and in fact... you’d prefer it they would just dislike you on sight? Then
you’ll soon be on this list! The Most Infamous Sims are those with the
most incoming enemy links, but not outgoing. So if you go around and let
people poke you in the eye, pile drive you and give you the “Kiss my #%%@”
repeatedly, your infamy shall soon abound!
The title reserved for the most dastardly of all Sims. The ones that
go from house to house bestowing evil words and foul meanings. These Sims
excel at being enemies of all, and in fact, would be perfect for that
revenge you’ve been meaning to take out! The Meanest Sims are all about
being and having enemies, and brawling at every opportunity:

The Meanest Sims are those with the most outgoing enemies, or - 60 on
the lifetime relationship scale. So, if you want to find yourself admired
for your ability to pick fights and pile drive like a professional wrestler,
then this is the list for you!

When you see your house on this list, it means you have succeeded in building
a location that Sims enjoy visiting. This is no easy task, as there are
quite a few choices out there for Sims to visit. Let’s take a look at
how it’s all done:
 |
If you scroll your mouse over the houses listed here,
you’ll see how many visitor hours that particular lot has. The more
visitor hours, the higher on the list your house will climb. So, how
do you get to the top? Well, here’s how it works: |
Lots are listed based upon the total hours you had visitors over a four-day
time period:
Day 1: 60 (10 visitors for stayed for 6 hours each)
Day 2: 16 (8 visitors stayed for 2 hours each)
Day 3: 00 (No visitors)
Day 4: 00 (No visitors)
76 ÷ 4 = 19 total hours.
So at the end of Day 4, your total visitor hours average, which will
determine your rank on the list, will be 19 hours. Now, to continue
the calculation, remember that it is an average over a four-day time
period. So Day 1 is no longer taken into consideration when you get
to Day 5.
Day 2: 16 (8 visitors stayed for 2 hours each)
Day 3: 00 (No visitors)
Day 4: 00 (No visitors)
Day 5: 08 (2 visitors stayed for 4 hours each)
24 ÷ 4 = 6 total hours.
Therefore, to keep your property on the Top 100 List, you will need
to keep those visitors coming. It takes more than a day or two to get
to the top. Ask your friends and neighbors to come visit you, and advertise!
If people know about you, there is a better chance they will visit!
